Bakewells Care Home in Bolton has been awarded an outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission.
The unannounced inspection took place on 3 April 2019.
The care home houses people over the age of 65 who require nursing or personal care, some with dementia.
The CQC awarded Bakewells outstanding on how effective and well-led it is, and good for how safe, caring and responsive.
Andrew Philip Morgan runs The Bakewells Care Home in Deane, the only provider in Bolton to achieve an outstanding rating for its effectiveness, a second time.
He said, “In the partnership we are all trying to work together on the Care Excellence programme which has been put in place to provide the best care we can in Bolton.”
"This is a positive story for Bolton, and it is down to the team at the council and the relationship with the private providers.”
